Director: Joe Wack
Plot: Upon returning from a war in which he fought alongside his friend Don Pedro, Count Claudio declares his love for Hero, daughter of the governor of Messina. When Don Pedro’s brother, the villainous John, tricks Don Pedro and Claudio into believing Hero is unfaithful, allegiances are tested and lovers may be torn apart forever.
AGE RECOMMENDATION
Suitable for ages 9+. There are some mature themes. Parents may want to consider their child’s maturity level and familiarity with Shakespeare when deciding if the play is appropriate.
Just as in Shakespeare’s time, some actors in our show are playing characters of different genders. This gives a wider range of actors the chance to bring us their unique interpretation of these iconic characters.
